A Battle I'd Never Forget


It was a bitter cold day. The Negaverse had come, and attacked our Crystal Tokyo so suddenly, and swiftly, that we were left unprepared to fight. The Sailor Senshi, which included my mother, and I, were not even aware that an attack was coming. Before I go on, I will introduce myself. I am Small Lady Serenity, daughter of Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion. I am the Crown Princess of Crystal Tokyo, and the heir of the Silver Imperium Crystal, and the throne. I am also known as Sailor Chibi Moon, my mother is Sailor Moon, and my father is Tuxedo Mask. I am 16 years old, with pink hair, which I keep in a hair style that looks like rabbit ears and pigtails, and I also have red eyes. My hair and eyes are odd, because the queens that have been before me all had blue eyes, and blonde or a silvery shade for hair. I guess this makes me unique in a way.
Anyways, to continue the story, we were all just having a picnic on the hill. All of the senshi were there, even Sailor Pluto. As I said, it was cold, but I wanted a picnic anyway. It was my birthday, and I wanted a small sweet sixteen party. So, I decided on a picnic. My parents consented, and planned a small party, with only themselves, me, and the senshi present.
"Happy birthday, Small Lady." Sailor Pluto said.
"Oh, Puu. You can call me Rini. All of you can." I said, at first to Pluto, then to them all.
"So, Rini, how does it feel to finally be sixteen? I know when I turned sixteen, I was battling the Negeverse." Neo Queen Serenity commented.
"It is wonderful, knowing that I will have a peaceful birthday." I replied.
"Well, in anycase, lets start the party. Rini, why don't you open your presents?" Lita suggested.
"Okay, will someone pass me one?" I asked.
"This one is from me." Ami said.
"Thank you, Ami." I replied.
I carefully ripped off the blue paper, and the shimmering golden bow. Inside, was a book. It was a book of the past rulers of the Silver Millenium, starting with the very first Queen and King of the Moon. Also, there were some free pages for me to write about myself, and for my daughters, and theirs.
"Oh, Ami. How did you piece this together? It's wonderful." I exclaimed.
"It's just something I found amoung the ruins of the moon. I went there, to seek some information about the silver millenium, and stumbled across it." she replied.
"Open mine next!" Hotaru exclaimed.
Hers was wrapped in a deep purple, and bordered with her symbol. It was a picture frame, the had the words, "Best Friends Forever", inscribed on it. Also, there was a picture in it of the both of us in our senshi uniforms.
"Thank you Hotaru. It means a lot to me." I said.
"Okay, princess, Here's mine." Setsuna said, with a warm smile on her face.
The gift that was put in my hand, was small, but wrapped delicately in a ruby red, and outlined in blue. It contained a locket with pictures of herself and me in it. It was made of gold, and bordered with amythists.
I was speechless when I saw it.
"Th...Th.. Thank you, Puu. It's beautiful." I finally managed to say.
She smiled in return, and looked happy.
"Heres mine!" Rei said, in a happy voice.
It was a box, that had a red velvet on it, and had a trim of purple. It contained a beautiful gold and ruby clock. I was happy, because my other clock had broken a couple months before.
"Thanks. At least I'm not always late, like mom was." I said, gratefully.
Everyone burst out laughing.
"Here's mine, Rini...... What's that?" Lita said, pointing at the sky.
There was a bright light, and before we knew it, we were being attacked. It was the daughter of Beryl, and she was seeking revenge for what my mother had done so many years ago. She brought a huge army, and we were totally caught off guard by the whole attack. We all transformed, and prepared to fight.
"We must protect the royal family!" Lita shouted.
The senshi, and I joined hands, and began our Sailor Planet Meditation, while mother held the crystal up, hoping to use it's power. It had a very weak effect, and we were knocked off our feet. We began using our attacks, hoping to stop the evil army. We split up, hoping to confuse them. Sailor Moon went with my father, Sailor Mercury with Sailor Neptune. Sailor Mars teamed up with SailorVenus, and Sailor Pluto. And Sailor Jupiter with Sailor Uranus. As for me, I went with Sailor Saturn. WE were all close enough to see how each other was doing. 

I remember hearing a scream, and turning to see Sailor Venus collapse, after being hit with her own attack. I was tempted to run over, but was caught by Saturn, who said there was nothing I could do. 

We continued fighting, but were steadily losing ground. I then heard another cry. This time it was Sailor Mercury, who was frozen solid, then the ice melted, and she fell. I made my way over to my friend, and felt a saddness that I had never experienced. My mother had shown a sign of weakness, but continued fighting. So did I. 

Neptune was the next to go. She screamed, and yelled as loud as she could. First for fear, then saying that we should not give up, and that she hoped the rest of us survived. She was hurled into the sky, almost 50 feet up, and fell back to the ground, breaking all her bones. Sailor Uranus fell to the ground in tears, which made her an easy target, but quickly regained her composer. 

Sailor Mars, was the next target. She was being hit with water, and ice, but it had little effect. She finally fell, when one of her charms, reversed, and hit her. As she stood, trying to get it off, a monster came and tied her to a stake, and burned her. Mars tried to escape, and screamed as loud as she could for help, but it was no use. Before she died, she said a silent prayer for all of the senshi, praying that they would survive. 

Jupiter was next, but didn't go without a fight. She was being punched, and kicked endlessly, but she fought back. It wasn't until she used her power, that the monster showed a weakness. Still, when she continued hitting it, all it did was stand there. She finally stopped, and when she did she was struck by a very high voltage of a thunder bolt. She, unlike everyone else, didn't scream. She stood there silently, as if accepting her fate. After the thunder stopped, she sank, silently, to the ground. She was as burnt as toast. 

I cried, and went over to my friend, but was grabbed by Pluto. She threw me out of the way, and was hit by a series of arrows. She tried to control them using her staff, but it didn't work. She let out a cry for help, but no one could help her. I screamed, and went over to my friend who was like a sister. I told her I was sorry, and that she would be alright. She said no, then said good-bye, and  died. I cried for my lost friend, and vowed I would try to protect the rest of the senshi. 

Only mom, Saturn, Uranus, and I were left. Sailor Saturn said to be careful, and to not give up if she, Uranus or mom were to die. We heard another shriek. This time, it was my mother, who was in danger. Sailor Uranus came in and saved her. She died, after an attack made the ground split, forming a bottomless pit. She shrieked, and tried to grab on to the side, but she fell. By now, I was past tears, and was seeking revenge for all my lost friends. 

I was now set on helping my friend, and family. I quickly ran over to Sailor Saturn, to help her fight. We were now starting to win, so bit by bit, I worried less. After we defeated the army, we started to battle Queen Beryl's daughter. Saturn decided to use her Death Reborn Revolution Attack, but it didn't work, and instead attacked her. She also didn't scream. Not that she wouldn't have, but she didn't have enough time. The attack killed her, and I was heart broken, because I knew I could've saved her. I knelt beside her, and picked up her glaive. I vowed to use it's power to help me defeat the evil queen. 

I was about to assist my mother, when she shrieked. She was in bubble, made up of all of the sailor senshi's powers. All, except mine. She cried very loudly, and tears fell from her eyes non stop. I knew she was sad, knowing she would die. I tried to save her, but it was no use. 

The crystal floated over to me, and landed in my brooch. I saw my mother disappear. I knew now, that I was the queen of the universe, and that I was the last senshi left. 

Oh, yes, I forgot to tell you what happened to father. He threw a rose at the queen, and it shot back at him, going right through his body. But now I knew what I had to do. 

I called out Cosmic Moon Power, and I defeated the queen. After she was gone, I went over to all the bodies of the senshi, and my father. I realise that Uranus wasn't there, but I went to the hole in the ground, hoping to see her face. When I saw none of them moving, or even breathing, I knew that I was the only one who had survived. 

I cried uncontrollably for two days straight. Luna, Artemis, and Diana tried to comfort me, but it was no use. Finally, after I had finished sobbing, I said that I was ready to prepare the coronation, in which I would be proclaimed as queen. I was prepared to take the place of my mother, but I missed her teribbly. 

After the coronation, I had a funeral planned for all the senshi, and my parents. It was splended, with lovely flowers, and colours. Before everyone left, I was to go and say something, in memorial of them all. So, I chose to say what happened on that sad day. After everyone left, I went from coffin, to coffin, saying a silent prayer for each. I took the longest at my mother's. I remembered all she had done for me. Like when I was only a girl, when I went back in time. She saved me many times from the evil sisters and everything else. I cried, and left. I went back to the hill where it all started. I picked up the gifts that were still there, and opened the ones that were wrapped. A sword from Haruka, a dress from Michiru, a cd player from Lita, a ring from Mina and a diary from daddy. I picked them all up, and silently walked home.
